Internal Funding

How the funds work together

  • Start with FTR for conference travel, books and subscriptions, research materials and supplies, dues, software, and similar costs. See what FTR supports.
  • Need more? WSA grants support scholarly and creative activities that cannot be covered by FTR, start-up, or external funding. If an opportunity comes up between rounds, you can pay out of pocket and request reimbursement in the next round. See WSA.
  • Working with students over the summer? CSR pays student stipends and research expenses, and the college covers summer housing. See CSR.
